Marketing & Promotions Coordinator





Reports To

Associate Athletic Director, External Affairs

Position Description

Oversees ingame promotions for the JU home games, on campus and community marketing, as well as the JU Athletics Hall of Fame, Junior Dolphin Club, Finatics Student Booster Club and Marketing Internship program.​


Essential Job Duties:

  • Community involvement and promotional activities
  • Oversee the daily operation of the Junior Dolphin Club, liaison to school and children's groups
  • Oversee the distribution of marketing materials on campus and to community groups
  • Oversee the marketing internship program
  • Responsible for Football, Basketball and Baseball Season ticket programs, Tailgate and Homecoming functions
  • Work closely with Student Life, Residential Life and Student Greek Organizations

Special Skills:

  • Must be familiar with all forms of Microsoft Office and other forms of design programs

Work Conditions:

  • Work full-time, mostly long hours (including nights and weekends)

Prerequisites Required for Position:

1. Minimum Education Requirement:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business, Marketing or Sport Management

2. Minimum Work Experience:

  • Work experience in the field of Marketing

3. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have had experience in marketing/sports and be willing to work long hours
