Coordinator of Enrollment for Online Nursing




Full-time, Exempt

Reports To

Director of RN-BSN Program, the Associate Dean of the School of Nursing and the Dean of the College of Health Sciences

Position Description

​The Coordinator of Online Enrollment for Nursing works in a team-based environment to oversee enrollment of RN-BSN nursing students in core and nursing courses. Collaborates with the Director of RN-BSN Programs and the Associate Dean of the School of Nursing and the Dean of the College of Health Sciences to implement strategic goals for the School of Nursing.  


Description of Essential Job Duties:
  • Facilitates online nursing and core enrollment and manages operational logistics of online nursing and core courses.
  • Acts as liaison for faculty, administration, online advisors, and Bisk in regards to online core requirements and online nursing programs.
  • Serves as initial point of contact for online nursing students to navigate the university system and provide guidance as needed.
  • Manages and coordinates online nursing and core courses,
  • including faculty assignments, contracts, payroll, and other duties, in collaboration with the Director of RN-BSN Programs and Deans.
  •  Collaborates with Bisk and Registrar in planning and implementing online nursing and core course enrollment.
  • Tracks enrollment trends and graduation rates to provide support for accreditation and continuing quality improvement of RN-BSN nursing programs.
  • Processes online RN-BSN applications and assists online advisors with transcript evaluation and other duties as needed.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary. 


 Work Conditions:

  • Primarily indoors except when traveling between campus buildings or being off-campus
  • Standard office hours 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Some off-campus travel required
  • Work is performed under minimum supervision and requires incumbent to exercise independence and discretion


Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer keyboard and other business machines
  • Near vision sufficient to read written communications and computer display screens
  • Adequate hearing to communicate effectively in person and by phone



Special Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Computer proficient
  • Baccalaureate degree


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a university environment
