Most summers Dr. Carole Barnett takes her students on a study abroad experience whether it is touring the ancient archaeological ruins of Italy and Greece or exploring castles and other medieval sites in Austria and Germany.  In addition, Dr. Joana Owens has developed a domestic "study away"  summer course which culminates in a week-long visit to New York City.​
