Student Activities

Annually, students have opportunities to perform in and provide technical support for major productions and student-directed scenes beginning in the freshman year. Due to JU’s small size and level of faculty involvement, student opportunities to perform are the norm, rather than the exception. Students also take road trips to present shows at area schools and participate in community service events. Theatre arts majors also may qualify for membership in the JU chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the national theatre honorary society.
