Computer Art & Design

Program Description

The Computer Art and Design major leads to a B.F.A. degree. The program’s philosophy is based on traditional art, art history and design as the foundation for creating art and designing with digital technology. The curriculum features a broad foundation that integrates design, drawing, creative problem solving, critical thinking, analysis and communication, and 3D animation. Those students majoring in and intending to follow a career in computer art and design will be preparing for entrance into the visual communication fields of computer art, computer animation, graphic design, and/or interactive media.
