The Riverside Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the awarding has sponsored a JU School of Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice Scholarship in the amount of $10,836. It is for JU SON DNP a 2nd year student whose doctoral project focuses on the provision of health care to an underserved population. The scholarship awarded will be applied toward student tuition. Two scholarships will be awarded.
Criteria for Scholarship:
Currently enrolled in JU SON DNP program
Satisfactory completion of at least one semester of DNP coursework
Cannot be a fulltime JU employee
Project must address needs of underserved population
Proposal:
Please provide a one page description of your proposal. In the proposal, provide specifics on the population the project will serve as well as a description of services provided. Describe the need this population has that will be addressed by this proposal and what interventions you propose to address this need. Provide detail on how the outcomes will be measured as well as the short and long term goals and objectives. Lastly provide any support that your project has from outside sources as well as a timeline for completion of the project. Catherine 'Catie' Carter Nursing Scholarship - The Jimmy Carter family and JU have established a scholarship to encourage new nurses like the ones who cared for Catie before she lost her battle with young life to Cancer.
Scholarship recipients shall be selected from an applicant pool, with priority given to those applicants who are:
a. practicing nurses at Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital pursuing a BSN, [first priority]
b. practicing nurses at Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital pursuing an MSN, [second priority] and
c. other highly qualified nursing applicants specializing in pediatric nursing. [third priority]

Our Purpose-Keeping true to Broadview-Katella’s mission of empowering people through education, Broadview Gives Back was instituted to insure that those who strive for higher education can have the financial means to do so. It is our goal to offset the rising cost of college education by awarding qualified students $2,500.

Florida Sea Grant offers a wide range of scholarship and fellowship opportunities for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students. The Aylesworth Scholarship, for example, will pay a student up to $10K per year for the duration of their degree program and is open to any FL university student working in a marine related field. Disguise your External Hard Drive Scholarship Contest -Datatech Labs has seen far too many cases of hard drives being stolen because hard drives can be very valuable and they look like hard drives. This year, we are giving students the opportunity to come up with a creative hard drive disguise in order to prevent hard drives from being stolen. You must be a high school senior who has been accepted into a college/university/trade school or a student that is currently enrolled in one of these schools.
