Students who bring their own computers for use on campus must, prior to connecting to the
network, register them through Campus Manager(see the IT portlet on MY JU for more infor-
mation), have antivirus software installed and updated, have all security patches recommended 
by the Operating System manufacturer installed and ensure the computer is in good operating
condition.

Each dorm and apartment room has a telephone jack.  Students bring their own phones and 
long distance service is done with student purchased calling cards.
