School of Nursing Scholarships

Eligibility for application of JU SON general scholarships: Any student who has been accepted into the school of nursing may apply.  The application may be used for any SON scholarship listed on the student info sheet.

Criteria for selection:

• Currently enrolled JU School of Nursing student with financial need
• Completed financial aid form with a note from financial aid office: notice of completed form
• Completed JU School of Nursing Scholarship Application form
• Classroom, clinical performance and/or health care experience
• Class level
• GPA

Selection process: Scholarships will be awarded using the following criteria:

• Completed application and financial aid statement by the date specified from the scholarship committee
• All completed applications with met criteria will be reviewed by the scholarship committee
• Notification of award will be given in writing by the Dean of the School of Nursing
• Scholarship recipients may reapply for scholarship funds the following term
