Dr. Andra Opalinski earned PhD in Nursing from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in May 2007.  Dr. Opalinski also completed National Institutes of Health Grant entitled CULTURAL BELIEFS AND ATTITUDES RELATED TO OVERWEIGHT CHILDREN IN HAITIAN AND HISPANIC CULTURES AND THE ROLE OF HEALTH MINISTRY.

Michelle L. Edmonds presented a poster entitled “The Lived Experience of Nursing Students Who Study Abroad” at the 18^th International Research Conference for Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society in Vienna Austria on July 12^th, 2007.
