Teacher Certification Preparation (TCP)

Join a committed group of professionals dedicated to obtaining teacher certification and developing the skills necessary to make a positive impact in our public school system. This 16 credit hour program, offered in 2 consecutive semesters and a single 6-week summer session, provides the student the credentials necessary to become certified in the state of Florida. 

Jacksonville University designed this fast-track program specifically for professionals interested in transitioning into a teaching career. This opportunity is affordably priced and is offered at a pace that recognizes the need for professionals to have flexibility in course scheduling and an accelerated format.

Tuition & How to Apply

  • Competitive tuition: $305 per credit hour. This is less than a $12 differential from current tuition in public universities. And, Jacksonville University has no fees. Free parking is included.
