Program Description
In studying marketing at Jacksonville University, students explore various marketing concepts, practices, and the dynamic environment of marketing management. The major provides the student with the essential skills and knowledge needed for planning, implementation, and control of the marketing function in business firms and other organizations. Students have opportunities to experience marketing decision making in a simulated real-life setting. The exercises and projects included in the program encompass many of the marketing processes and include decisions that relate to market selection, product development, distribution management, and promotional strategies.
