Dr. Jim Mirabella

Jim Mirabella has been with Jacksonville University since 1998, having first joined as one of the original ADP instructors. Since then he has taught in the traditional classes and currently teaches both the MBA and ADP classes. He has 20 years of teaching experience, having taught on-ground and online at all levels from Associates to PhD. Currently Jim is self-employed as President of his own research & consulting business, but spends most of his time teaching college and conducting corporate training.
His prior experience includes 9 years in the U.S. Air Force (where he served as an Operations Research Analyst), 9 years with AT&T and Convergys (where he worked as a Marketing Research Statistician and a Director of Quality), and 3 years at FCCJ (where he was the Director of Institutional Research). Jim has developed over a dozen online courses for multiple universities, and is now a published author of MAKE MONEY TEACHING ONLINE, a book about how to get hired as an adjunct professor and possibly make a living at it. His education includes a Doctorate in Business Administration & Management from Nova Southeastern University, an MBA from Auburn University, and a BS in Operations Research from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
