Teaching
Course Director at West Point (1972 1973). Taught engineering and new systems engineering courses at West Point (1987 1989). Taught five of the required core twelve courses in the JU Executive and Evening MBA programs (1994 present).  

Curriculum Reform and the Integration of Technology
As Head of Engineering, initiated new systems engineering major at West Point (1987). While member of senior governance board at West Point (Academic Board), actively involved in major curriculum reform and reorganization i.e. deactivated Department of Engineering and participated in activating a new Department of Systems Engineering. Headed numerous curriculum reviews at JU.

Management/Consulting Experience
Command at all Army levels through battalion level (battalion commander in Germany 1978 1980). Deputy Project Manager of an Army $650 million computer project (1980 1982). Associate Director of Engineering, Technology and Strategic Planning for Defense Communications Agency (1989 1990). Vice President for Systems Technology, Pacific Bell (1990 1993). International consultant in Information Technology for Learning Tree International and Hong Kong Productivity Center.  Consulted with a variety of local businesses to include Merrill Lynch, Stellar Group, Specialty Hospital, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Scott McCrae Group.

Numerous refereed publications in last ten years (e.g.: Aerospace Power Journal Spring 2000; “An Army View of Kosovo; “The CEO Pay/Performance Dilemma”, Journal of Business Disciplines, 2004; “Strange Bedfellows”, Cambridge Business Review, 2006).  . 
University Service
Served on a variety of University and College of Business (COB) committees. As Director of Accreditation for COB,
developed and implemented new initiatives in COB including new committee structure; Chair of Faculty Athletic Committee (2000-2002); Chair of University Tenure and Promotion Committee (2003-2005).

Miscellaneous
Avid sports fan especially in football, basketball and golf.  Lettered at West Point in basketball.  Assistant basketball coach at West Point (1987-1989) and at Jacksonville University (1994-1997). Jacksonville Jaguar season ticket holder and golf enthusiast.
