Management

Many business schools offer a program in management. But few infuse their curriculum with a focus on leadership. At Jacksonville University, students majoring in management go “outside the box” to discover the leaders within themselves. They start with the business core curriculum, then spend more time learning about organizations, teams, and the management of business functions. This program strongly emphasizes the soft skills – communication, analysis, decision making – that employers are looking for.

Your professors will challenge you to apply business knowledge and management techniques in new and interesting ways. What can you and your classmates learn from writing and producing a theater production? Think: team building, communication, project management, goal setting and delegation. Expect the unexpected, and be prepared to use leadership qualities and management techniques you didn’t even know you had. With a degree in management from JU, you’ll be ready to tackle management assignments and challenges in all kinds of organizations.
