Program Description

The international business program at Jacksonville University is an interdisciplinary program that explores the changing nature of global business. It focuses on business activities that cross national boundaries. The program is designed to provide the student with an understanding of the globalization of the world economy, the competitive environment of the global market, the role of technology and technological changes, and the impact of multinational firms and global corporations on world trade and markets. It is intended for students who are aware of the increasing probability that they will be employed by firms engaged in international business activities and who seek knowledge of the problem-solving techniques unique to international business.
