Humanities
Internship & Career Opportunities
Preparation in Humanities is not narrowly pre-professional or vocational. With an emphasis on critical thinking, written communication, intellectual flexibility, and the sweep of cultural history, a Humanities major—especially when combined with a second major—can propel students into a successful career in law, medicine, government, business, teaching, travel, or the arts. JU graduates enjoy successful careers in a variety of areas and acceptance to law schools and graduate programs. Some of their employers include Florida Physicians Insurance Company, The Ritz Carlton - Amelia Island, The Della Porta Group, and the Peru Ministry of Foreign Relations.
