Facilities & Resources

History majors are particularly fortunate in the resources Jacksonville University makes available to them. Swisher Library's collections are especially strong in history. The Gooding Building, home of the history department, houses a computerized classroom. Student success, however, is much more than a matter of technology. JU's Writing Center provides computerized and peer/staff assistance programs that emphasize one-on-one help in developing writing and oral communication skills.
