Program Description

Engineering education at Jacksonville University is offered as dual-degree programs. Dual degree programs are tailored to students who wish to acquire leadership qualities, a solid foundation in sciences and mathematics, and a broad liberal arts background. In these programs, students enroll at JU for three years and then transfer to one of JU's affiliated institutions for two more years. The affiliated institutions are: Columbia University, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Florida, University of Miami, Mercer University, Washington University in St. Louis, and Stevens Institute of Technology. In five years, participants will receive their first Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville University in one of the four available options and their second Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline of their choice from one of the affiliated institutions.
