Internship & Career Opportunities

Engineering students have participated in summer internships with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, CSX Railroad Systems, the U. S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Many of the affiliated institutions have co-op programs that involve interested students. Job placement has been high, with salary offers well above average. This success is due mainly to the multidisciplinary backgrounds of graduates and possession of two distinct college degrees.

Jacksonville University engineering graduates have gone to successful careers in a variety of areas. Some of their employers include Motorola, Chrysler Corp., Gulfstream Aerospace, Martin Marietta Corp., Pratt & Whitney, and Florida Power & Light.
