Student Activities

The engineering program has the first student chapter of the National Society of Professional Engineers/Florida Engineering Society (NSPE/FES) in northeast Florida. The membership is very strong, averaging 20 students per year. The leadership has been exemplary, and activities include biweekly meetings, a speaker series, field trips to local industries, and participation in regional and national meetings. Engineering students also are very active in the Society of Physics Students.
