Program Description

The School of Education is charged with the responsibility of preparing educators and educational administrators for the schools of Florida and the nation. With the enormous influence that teaching has upon the lives of children, it is essential that we carefully evaluate applicants both for admission to and continuation in a teacher education program. Programs must be planned cooperatively with other divisions of the University that offer courses in fields in which a student wishes to become certified to teach.

Teacher education programs of the School of Education are approved by the Florida Department of Education for the purposes of teacher certification.
