Computing Sciences
Internship & Career Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available for qualified computing sciences students. These programs allow students to earn a salary and up to 12 credit hours, which can be applied toward graduation (three hours toward CS elective). Work experience adds value to the education process and helps students gain hands-on knowledge in the computing field. Many CS students are hired on campus as computer laboratory assistants and technicians. There are also numerous jobs available in the local marketplace for CS students. Past students have worked in financial services, transportation, and medical industries. A number of them have continued working for these employers after completing the internship.
