All of the major programs within the Department of Art except art history require completion of the art fundamentals and the art history fundamentals. Other requirements for each program vary as indicated below:

Art Fundamentals

Art History Fundamentals

Studio Art Major

Concentrations in painting, glass, sculpture, photography, ceramics, experimental art, or printmaking:

  • 32 credit hours for B.F.A.;
  • 16 credit hours for the B.A.
