The Master of Education degree in Leadership and Learning is a 34-credit, 18-month program designed for working professionals who are interested in leadership roles in learning organizations. The program consists of modular and stand-alone course work. There are three concentrations available in the Leadership and Learning degree: Sport Management and Leadership (SML), Instructional Leadership and Organizational Development (ILOD) and Educational Leadership (EL).
To be admitted into the M.Ed. in Leadership and Learning Program as a Degree Candidate, all students must meet the following criteria:
- An earned undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited university
- All students must submit an official GRE Score *
- Formula used for determining admission: 200 X cum undergraduate GPA + 1/2 of GRE = or > 900
- Two letters of recommendation
For the EL concentration, at least one of the recommendation letters must come from a school principal and/or immediate supervisor.
- Copy of resume
*Students graduating with a cum undergraduate GPA of 3.3 with 3 yeras of relative work experience are exempt from taking the GRE.
