Position Description
The Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Search Committee seek an administrator with demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to: attract and inspire distinguished faculty, talented staff, and outstanding students; cultivate and maintain relationships with the business community; and increase gifts, endowment, and other significant revenue sources. The ideal candidate will have the ability to complete the strategic goals of achieving full AACSB accreditation, while furthering progress toward regional preeminence and incorporation of business technology into the curriculum.
Responsibilities
The Dean is responsible for the administrative, fiscal, and academic functions of the College and serves as the leading advocate of the faculty, programs, and students to the business community and other external constituencies. The Dean will work extensively to expand existing and develop new relationships with industry leaders and employers, both locally and outside the region.
