Position Description
The School of Education welcomes applications for the twelve-month position of Coordinator of Evaluation & Accreditation and Assistant to the Dean.

Responsibilities
Under general direction from the Dean, this individual will coordinate assessment activities in the school and collaborate with university offices and the Florida Department of Education on Assessment. Furthermore, other responsibilities will include preparation of program evaluation reports for external accreditation agencies, analysis, interpretation, and report assessment.  Collaboration with faulty to make programmatic changes based on evaluation data, development of assessment instruments, maintenance of the central data warehouse, and other duties as assigned duties will round out the responsibilities.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have an Ed.D or Ph.D. in education (Ads will be considered).  Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and the use of electronic statistical analysis tools such as SEPSES or SATS preferred.  The candidate must have experience with and the ability to develop assessments, as well as evaluation skills.  Familiarity with regional and special accreditation preferred.

The individual should have the ability and specialized skills to work cooperatively with a diverse population of faculty, students, administration, and technology personnel both inside and outside the School of Education.  Candidates must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, use relational databases, conduct multivariate analyses and use statistical packages.  Additionally, this candidate must possess strong organizational and project management skills.

Compensation will be highly competitive and commensurate with experience. Review of applications will begin towards the end of the semester and continue until the position is filled.  Position is available July 2008.
