As early as your freshman year you can benefit from hands-on learning opportunities, something that is hard to duplicate at larger universities. Art majors show their work in the Alexander Brest Museum and Gallery; dance students attend American College Dance Festival and perform at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.; music majors compose, direct and perform in groups that travel to major cities like New York and London; and theatre students write and produce plays and perform in major productions.
