The Family Advisory Board

Hello JU Family!

We are now into our third year of our Family Association and our Advisory Board Co-Chairs Andy ’78 and Margot Moran will step down as Co-Chairs, but will remain active on the Advisory Board. Their leadership and guidance in the inaugural two years has been an inspiration to all who have served on the board with them. Our thanks to them for spearheading this new endeavor and handing off to us a growing and important part of the JU experience. Thank you Margot and Andy!

As the newly appointed Co-Chairs of the Board, we look forward to serving you, our JU families, with energy and enthusiasm. We are the parents of both a traditional undergrad student, Nick ’09, and Christian ’10, an ADP student. Our sons are having a great educational, social and academic experience at JU and find the one on one personal interest from their faculty the school’s greatest asset.

The Family Association hopes to make you and your student’s educational experience at JU as rewarding as possible. There are events and functions throughout the year that we will be hosting. Please let us know where you might want to be involved or where we can better serve you, our families. Your involvement in this organization is key to its continued growth and development.

Your Family Association Advisory Board is working hard to ensure that the Association will make a valuable contribution to improving student life at JU. Our mission is to increase communication and involvement between students’ families and the University to support the University’s efforts to provide students with an excellent, well-rounded education at Jacksonville University.
