International Students

There’s no better time than now to become a JU Dolphin!  Jacksonville University is committed to providing students with a global education and as a prospective international student we’re excited that you are taking a closer look at what we have to offer.

APPLICATION

The Admission Office at Jacksonville University is committed to helping you through the international application process and answering your questions.  Students who are permanent residents of the U.S. (U.S. citizens, green card holders, refugees, asylees) should apply as U.S. students (click here for the US student application).   International students who will have non-immigrant status (usually F-1) must complete the international application.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Jacksonville University provides partial academic scholarships to undergraduate international students with good academic records and English proficiency or college admission exam scores.  The maximum amount is $11,000 per year.  No additional paperwork is required in order to be considered for an academic scholarship.  Financial awards are also available to recruited athletes and students excelling in the fine arts.  Student athletes must directly contact the coach of the sport they wish to play, and fine arts students must submit a video or electronic portfolio to satisfy the audition or portfolio review requirement.

Jacksonville University scholarships do not include travel and miscellaneous living expenses; the student is responsible for these costs.  All students, including recruited athletes, must submit a Confidential Financial Statement showing enough funds for expenses not covered by a Jacksonville University Scholarship.  Aid based on financial need is not available.
