I received the Paul Lomax Award for Outstanding Doctoral Graduate in Business Education at NYU and the Delta Pi Epsilon National Research Award for doctoral dissertation: Internal Control Environment Forces and Financial Reporting Decisions Made by Financial Accountants.

Teaching Interests
I have taught classes in the following subject areas: Auditing, Financial and Managerial Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis. I have also worked individually with students on internships and research projects.
Research Interests
My research interests include fraudulent financial reporting, ethics, internal control, teaching, and sustainability. I have published in CPA Journal, Issues in Accounting Education, Research on Accounting Ethics, Journal of Forensic Accounting, Teaching Business Ethics, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business and Economics Research, Global Perspectives in Accounting Education, and Journal of Education for Business, among others. I am an ad-hoc reviewer for Journal of Business Ethics and have also served as a reviewer for other journals and conferences.
Professional Experience
I am a CPA with work experience in public accounting (Laventhol & Horwath) and internal auditing (New York University), among other accounting areas. I am currently a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the American Accounting Association.
