Professional Information
Dr. Robin Edge is an Assistant Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Dr. Edge received a BS and PhD from The University of Georgia and a MEd from Valdosta
State University all in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She was nominated for
“2014 Best University Professor” at The University of Mississippi where she worked
prior to joining JU. She also owned and operated a rehabilitation clinic for 12 years.
Dr. Edge currently supervises JU graduate students working with preschoolers at Jacksonville
Speech and Hearing Center. Her research interests include stuttering, quality of life,
and treatment outcomes. Dr. Edge is published in The Journal of Speech, Language,
and Hearing Research, American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology, Journal of Voice,
Journal of Communication Disorders, and Journal of Fluency Disorders.
