Professional Information
Dorothy Bourgeois is an adjunct professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
She earned her BA and MA in communication sciences and disorders at the University
of Florida. While attending The University of Florida, she worked in labs conducting
research on language development and its link to cognition, speech sound perception,
and voice perception. Dorothy is a licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist
at the Jacksonville Speech and Hearing Center, working with preschool aged children
with speech and language disorders.
