Professional level
productions are a part of our overall curriculum, including one fully-staged musical and one opera per year, as well as
smaller-scale workshop productions and community outreach performances. Our
performance facilities include the newly renovated Swisher Theatre (400 seats),
Terry Concert Hall (425 seats), and the Fine Arts Hall and Studio Theatre.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Music Theatre is housed in the Music

competent, highly-skilled musical artist/actors. The BFA in Music Theatre is a

(ballet, jazz, modern & tap), Music Theory I-III, Class Piano, Singer’s
Diction and Music Theatre History. Performance opportunities include music
theatre, light opera, jazz, theatre, film and dance, and opportunities abound for students to build
skills outside of their area of expertise.

The Bachelor of Music (BM) in Voice
Performance is a professional preparatory degree program
which prepares students for careers in performance, private studio teaching, or
preparation for study toward advanced degrees. The program includes four
years of applied Voice study; Music Theory; Operatic and Vocal History and
Literature; Singer’s Diction (Italian, German and French); and Vocal Pedagogy.
Performance opportunities include one fully-staged opera per year, several
smaller scale workshop and community outreach performances, and solo
