An audition or portfolio review is required for entry into the BA program and is required for scholarship consideration. Students will be evaluated on an annual basis to determine progress in the pursuit of their degree and to remain in good standing within their program.
THEATRE AUDITIONS, PLACEMENT AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Auditions are required in person and are conducted on College of Fine Arts scheduled audition dates. Those who cannot appear in person must submit a video-recorded performance. Auditions are used to determine a student's level of placement and possible theatre scholarships and awards. Audition appointments may be arranged with the Office of Admissions.
Prospective theatre students are required to audition or have a portfolio review for acceptance as a BA Theatre Arts major. Any consideration for eligibility and scholarship recommendation is based upon the audition process. Students transferring into the program must audition or have a portfolio review prior to advising to determine placement and advising.
