Background checks are required on all students who participate in clinical practice. A clear background check must be submited to the School of Nursing before graduate may enroll in their first clinical course. Information on the background check may need to be released to agencies for permission to participate at the clinical site. If clinical placement is denied by the agency, and an alternative site cannot be obtained, the student will not complete the program.​
