The University major is an interdisciplinary major program approved by the
University Curriculum Committee. An undergraduate student with at least a 2.5
GPA and at least 24 semester hours remaining to be completed in the proposed
University major may work with an advisor to research and design a University
major to achieve the student’s goals for preparation in a major that
Jacksonville University does not offer. Guidelines for submission of University
major proposals can be obtained from the current chair of the University
Curriculum Committee or from the director of the Honors Program. Any major
program for which a proper pattern of studies exists at JU will be
considered.
