An undergraduate, who chooses to concentrate on a subject that crosses
departmental lines, rather than specializing in an established departmental
major, must secure the approval of the University Curriculum Committee and the
college dean(s) supervising the contributory course offerings. At least 24
credit hours of this major program must be completed after the approval of the
program. Students electing this option will be designated as University Majors.
The student shall submit a plan of study to the Curriculum Committee and the
appropriate dean. The University major is limited to those students with a 2.5
cumulative GPA at the time the plan is approved.
