The normal course load for a full-time undergraduate student during fall and
spring semesters is 12-18 credit hours. An undergraduate student must obtain
course overload permission from the appropriate college dean(s) if he/she wishes
to register for:
- More than 18 credit hours during a fall or spring semester
- More than 15 credit hours during a 12-week summer semester
- More than nine credit hours during a six-week summer term
- More than 15 credit hours during a fall or spring semester if on probation
- More than seven credit hours during a summer term, if on probation
