COACHING MINOR
The Coaching Minor is comprised of fifteen (15) semester
hours, with a grade of ‘C’ or higher in each course. Students must also have a
valid CPR certificate from the Red Cross or American Heart Association. Coaching
certification is recognized by the Florida Department of Education.

EXERCISE SCIENCE MINOR
The Exercise Science Minor is comprised of nineteen (19)
semester hours are required, with a grade of “C” or higher in each course.
Required Courses
Students are required to complete five
(5) courses at Jacksonville University:
- four (4) of the five theory courses (BIOL 214, PE 327, PE 391, PE 470, PE
480)
- one (1) of the three activity courses (DANC 112, DANC 104, PE 215)
