The major in Computer Art & Design leading to the BFA degree is designed for students who wish to use the potential of the computer in the development of art toward either a vocational or vocational interests. Those students majoring in and intending to follow a career in computer art & design will be preparing for entrance into the visual communications field in computer art, computer animation, graphic design and/or interactive media.

All students majoring in Computer Art & Design will complete the following:

  • Students majoring in Computer Art & Design must complete the CAD core courses.
  • 36-39 credit hours within Computer Art & Design in graphic design or computer animation/interactive media.
