CIRRUS SR-20

The Cirrus SR-20 is a state-of-the-art low-wing four-seat composite airplane best known for its incorporation of an airframe parachute, which, in case of an emergency, can float the plane and its passengers down for safe landing on the ground. The Cirrus is used during Instrument training, Commercial Single-Engine training, and Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument training. The Cirrus is remarkable for its cruise speed of 150-155 knots on 12 gallons per hour of fuel through its six-cylinder 200hp fuel-injected Continental engine. Classified by the FAA as a Technologically Advanced Aircraft (TAA), the SR-20 is nicely equipped with an Avidyne Flight Max Entegra Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MFD), dual Garmin 430 GPS , and S-TEC 55X Auto Pilot with flight director.​​​​​​
