Congratulations to our Distinguished Alumni 2015: Will Weatherford '02!  Also, congratulations to Scott Amos Recent Alumni of Distinction: Al Emerick '8​9/'12!  The awards will be presented during Homecoming 2015.  Our nex​t set of awards will be given during Homecoming​ 2016.

Nominations for the 2016​ awards are now closed. The winners will be announced here soon!

The two categories of awards are as follows:

1. Distinguished Alumni Award​
Qualifications:
The person receiving this award must be a graduate of Jacksonville University who is well-rounded in all aspects of their professional accomplishments, community and philanthropic efforts and continued support of JU. The award will be based on the following criteria:
60% Professional Accomplishments
30% Community Involvement/Philanthropic Efforts
10% Engagement and Support of JU

2. Scott Amos Recent Alumni of Distinction

The Scott Amos Recent Alumni of Distinction Award is bestowed upon our GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) alumni who represent what it means to be an exceptional dolphin. Named after JU’s  Randall Scott Amos ’01’06, who passed away on October 28, 2006; this award symbolizes young Dolphins who truly make a difference in their community, their profession and at JU. Amos was Student Senator and Vice President of JU’s Student Government and President and Commander of Sigma Nu Fraternity. In addition to being selected for Green Key at JU for leadership and scholastic accomplishments, Scott earned B.S. and MBA from the Davis College of Business. Scott Amos’ legacy lives on with this award and all those it is presented to. If you know a recent alumni of either the undergraduate or graduate programs that is an exemplary Dolphin please nominate them below. We are currently accepting nominations for 2017.
Qualifications:
This newly created award will be given to an alumnus of Jacksonville University who has graduated from JU in the last 10 years. In addition to being a recent graduate, the
award will be based on the following criteria:
60% Professional Accomplishments
30% Community Involvement/Philanthropic Efforts
10% Engagement and Support of JU

The deadline for 2017 nomination is June 30, 2017. ​​​
