Distinguished Alumni Awards Information

Congratulations to our Distinguished Alumni 2011:  Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown '85/'89!  Also, congratulations to our Scott Amos Recent Alumni of Distinction: Matt Kane '01!  The awards were presented during Homecoming 2011.  Our next set of awards will be given during Homecoming 2012.

We will accept nominations for the 2012 awards until June 3, 2012.

The two categories of awards are as follows:

1. Distinguished Alumni Award
Qualifications:
The person receiving this award must be a graduate of Jacksonville University who is well-rounded in all aspects of their professional accomplishments, community and philanthropic efforts and continued support of JU. The award will be based on the following criteria:
60% Professional Accomplishments
30% Community Involvement/Philanthropic Efforts
10% Engagement and Support of JU

2. Scott Amos Recent Alumni of Distinction
Qualifications:
This newly created award will be given to an alumnus of Jacksonville University who has graduated from JU in the last 10 years. In addition to being a recent graduate, the
award will be based on the following criteria:
60% Professional Accomplishments
30% Community Involvement/Philanthropic Efforts
10% Engagement and Support of JU
