Jacksonville University operates on a rolling admission, so it's best to apply as early as possible. You must complete the application for admission and submit the required supporting materials to be considered for admission to Jacksonville University. The fall priority deadline is April 15th, and the spring priority deadline is December 1st. To apply you may use the applications below or the Common Application.

U.S. Freshman Applicants

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Have earned or will earn a high school diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
  • Have never enrolled as a full-time or part-time student at a college or university except for Dual Enrollment during high school.

U.S. Transfer Applicants

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Have earned a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
  • Have previously enrolled at a regionally accredited college or university after earning a high school diploma or GED.

International Freshman and Transfer Applicants

  • Not a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
  • Have earned or will earn a high school diploma, a General Educational Development (GED) diploma or the equivalent.
  • Both degree-seeking and non-degree International Applicants must complete an International application.

U.S. Non-Degree Applicants

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Wish to take one or more undergraduate-level courses for college credit without pursuing a degree.

Transient Student Applicants

  • Degree candidate at another college, university, or similar institution.
  • Wish to earn credits at Jacksonville University to transfer back to the institution where you are currently matriculated.

Accelerated Degree Program (ADP) Applicants

  • Have a high school diploma, a General Educational Development (GED) diploma or equivalent.
  • Are interested in taking classes at night or on the weekends.
  • All ADP Applicants—both U.S. and International—should apply using this application.

Orthodontics Applicants​

Online Nursing Program Applicants

  • Be a Registered Nurse.
  • Wish to take online courses to advance in current career field.

Study Abroad Program Applicants

  • Degree candidate at another college, university, or similar institution.
  • Wish to enroll in the unique experience provided by JU's extensive Study Abroad program.
  • All Study Abroad Applicants—both U.S. and International—should apply using this application.
