Submitting an online application is quick and easy! Follow these steps to start your journey towards becoming a JU Dolphin:

Read the following descriptions carefully!

Undergraduate Degree Applicants
U.S. Freshman Applicants:
  • Are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Have earned or will earn a high school diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
  • Have never enrolled as a full-time or part-time student at a college or university EXCEPT for Dual Enrollment during high school.

    U. S. Transfer Applicants:
  • Are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Have earned a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
  • Have previously enrolled at a regionally accredited college or university AFTER earning your high school or GED diploma REGARDLESS of the number of credits earned.
  • You are not a Transfer Applicant if the only college credit you have earned is from classes taken through Dual Enrollment programs!

International Freshman and Transfer Applicants:
  • Are not a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
  • Have earned or will earn a high school diploma, a General Educational Development (GED) diploma or equivalent.
  • Are not applying as a Transient student -- see below.
  • Are not applying as an Accelerated Degree Program student -- see below.
  • Both degree-seeking and non-degree International Applicants must complete an International application.

U.S. Non-Degree Applicants
  • Are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Wish to take one or more undergraduate-level courses for college credit without pursuing a degree.

Transient Student Applicants: 
  • Are a degree candidate at another college, university, or similar institution.
  • Wish to earn credits at Jacksonville University to apply to an undergraduate degree program at the institution where you are currently matriculated.
  • All Transient Applicants -- both U.S. and International -- should apply using this application.

Accelerated Degree Program (ADP) Applicants: 
  • Are a working adult age 25 or older. 
  • Have a high school diploma, a General Educational Development (GED) diploma or equivalent.
  • Are interested in taking classes at night or on the weekends.
  • All ADP Applicants -- both U.S. and International -- should apply using this application.

Graduate Degree Applicants
  • Wish to pursue a Master's degree or take individual graduate-level classes.
  • All Graduate Applicants -- both U.S. and International -- should apply using this application.

Orthodontics Student Applicants

  • Applicants to the Orthodontics program must contact Sharon Frazier at 904-256-7847 or sfrazie@ju.edu.

 

Online Nursing Program Applicants
  • Are a Registered Nurse.
  • Wish to take online courses to advance your career.

Study Abroad Program Applicants 
  • Are a degree candidate at another college, university, or similar institution.
  • Wish to enroll in the unique experience provided by JU's extensive Study Abroad program.
  • All Study Abroad applicants -- both U.S. and International -- should apply using this application.
