Scrip (gift) cards
We are pleased to invite you to participate in an exciting new fundraiser benefiting our own Wilma’s Little People’s School. (This fundraiser will be an ongoing project for the entire school year.)
The program, sponsored by the Great Lakes Scrip Center, is a dollar for dollar purchase of gift cards, also called scrip cards, that can be used for purchases at a variety of local retailers – grocery and department stores and restaurants. They do not expire and can be used nationwide. Each gift card purchased provides a direct profit for WLPS in the form of a percentage of the face value, sometimes as great as 15%. (The gift cards are available for a variety of stores in a variety of dollar amounts.)
Here’s an example of how it works…
You purchase, through WLPS, a $20 gift card for a particular store.
You receive a $20 gift card for that store (usually in just a few days).
WLPS receives, as fundraising cash, a percentage of the face value of the gift card (the commission amount provided by the retailer) just for securing your purchase.
Please consider placing an order today! If you have any questions, please contact Jeanine Garrett, Director of WLPS at ext 7147 or e-mail us at wlps.ju.edu. Order forms can be downloaded from our forms page. Just click on fundraiser order form and print or call (x7147) if you would like one sent to you via interoffice mail.
Thank you on behalf of the faculty and the children of Wilma’s Little People’s School.

Campbell's Labels for Education
We are fortunate to have the efforts of one of our Grandparents, Mrs. Linda Watson (Aaron's Grandmother), to coordinate this program for us. Please remember to save the labels from Campbell's soup and other Campbell's products and return them to the school collection box in the Family Room. Be sure to include the entire UPC Code label.
We are excited about a new program starting at Wilma’s Little People’s School! Artsonia.com is an on-line art museum that will allow us to upload your child’s artwork for viewing by family and friends via their website. Every student will have his or her own unique gallery name based on their first name only. Last names are used only by the school for roster purposes and never published on-line. Artwork is uploaded and available for viewing by student, class or school gallery. The site allows for family and friends to comment on the artwork in the form of a “Fan Club”. All comments are reviewed as appropriate by the Artsonia site and forwarded to the child’s registered parent for approval before posting. Parents are requested to register at the site to receive their unique access code that allows this approval.
In addition to viewing the gallery of artwork, family and friends are able to choose from a variety of products that can be customized with the child’s artwork, such as stickers, magnets, note cards, and tote bags. Artsonia has a full product catalog on their website. As a fundraising incentive, Artsonia will donate back to WLPS 15% of each order placed. These funds will be used to further enhance the art experiences we can offer to our students.
As always, if you have any questions, please call or email us at email@example.com
. Feel free to browse the Artsonia website (Artsonia.com) for information about their program and products.
