I was born and raised in Woodstock NY, I joined the NAVY in 2001 as a culinary specialist right out of high school at 17. I served 5 years at Tinker AFB and another 3 in NAS Key West. I came to Jacksonville when the NAVY stationed my husband here in 2009. I went to school at FSCJ for two years received my AA and transferred to Jacksonville University. I am currently a Senior set to graduate with my bachelors in Biology Fall 2013. I would like to continue my education and go to graduate school and maybe one day my Ph.D.
I started my career in Washington D.C. selected as a member of the US Navy Presidential Honor Guard. As a member of the Casket Bearer Platoon I completed over 2,500 funerals including funerals for President Ford and First Lady "Lady Bird" Johnson. I also performed in numerous high-profile ceremonies such as the 44th Presidential Inauguration, the retirement of the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the welcoming of numerous foreign dignitary.
After completing one successful tour with HSL-48 as an Aviation Electrician in the Horn of Africa, I ended my Active Duty status to begin college at Jacksonville University. I am currently an Active Reservist at VP-62 and in my senior year of a Bachelors in Aviation Management.

Currently I am double majoring in Spanish/Business Managment and pursing a minor in Psychology. I am on Jacksonville University Varsity Shooting Team, I love adventure, and on occusions travel when I have the opportunity. After I graduate from Jacksonville University, I want to purse an MBA and become a teacher.
