SPECIAL INTEREST ORGANIZATIONS AND SPORT CLUBS
The University sponsors numerous organizations and clubs.

STUDENT MEDIA
The Navigator is the University’s weekly student newspaper. The Riparian, the University yearbook, is a pictorial and written review of all significant activities on the campus during the past year. The Aquarian, the student literary magazine, is published annually in the spring semester. Dolphin Radio is the campus radio station, and The Dolphin Channel (TDC) is the campus television production organization. The President of Jacksonville University is the publisher/producer of all recognized student media.

INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS
Jacksonville University is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I (Football Championship Subdivision in football) and the Atlantic Sun Conference. The football program competes in the Pioneer Football League. The athletic department currently sponsors 20 intercollegiate sports. The University provides athletic grants to qualified student-athletes in all sports except football and adheres to NCAA academic progress requirements for students involved in intercollegiate athletics. JU offers a variety of resources for recreation and intramural sports. Team, dual and individual events are offered.
