If you already hold an Associate of Arts degree from a regionally accredited institution or have completed the Jacksonville University undergraduate core curriculum and want to pursue a career in nursing, you have the opportunity to complete your nursing degree in two years with our Transfer Program. The program starts twice a year, May (Application deadline is December 1) and August (Application deadline is April 1).

Admission Requirements:
• A $15 nonrefundable application fee
• An Associate in Arts degree or credit for the entire university undergraduate core curriculum*
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
• Complete, prior to enrollment, the following prerequisites*:
- Human Anatomy & Physiology I
- Human Anatomy & Physiology II
- A General Chemistry (must include a lab)
- Microbiology
- Human Nutrition
- Human Growth & Development
- Statistics
*Required courses if you do not have an AA degree from a regionally accredited institution:
- Introductory Writing
- Personal Productivity Using Technology
- Principles of Macroeconomics
- World Literature
- The Modern World
- Introduction to Philosophy
